Absolutely love this shop. I have been a patron since they opened their first location in Rochelle Park, and followed them when they moved to Lodi to an even better, brighter space. I love that it is family owned and I especially love that it is cage free! The dogs wait in stalls that are open on the top so the dogs don't feel closed in (2 of my 3 dogs have never been in crates so this is really important for us). My dogs are so comfortable coming here and I would trust The Grooming Shoppe 100% with them. Communication is always impeccable as well. We love The Grooming Shoppe and will continue supporting a local business indefinitely!

I can not say enough wonderful things about the grooming shoppe. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They do a phenomenal job grooming my PWD and I always feel confident that she is being left in a safe and clean environment. They also have great self-service dog wash stations if you are looking to wash your own pet. The store also offers a huge variety of healthy and alternative pet foods, snacks, and supplies. My dog absolutely loves going to the grooming shoppe.

This was my first time taking my dog to a new groomer and let me just say, it was 100% worth it. They attended her super nicely and the wait wasn’t that long compared to other groomers. Once I picked her up I could not stop smiling. She looked so cute and amazing! The little bow topped it off for me. The groomers were also very friendly and nice. 10/10, this is the place I will always take my dog to!!

I am a business owner. I work one on one with clients every day. If there is a mistake on my part, and my client addresses me with it or even if I notice it, I am always going to accommodate with that service even if I lose out on pay. Today I called the grooming shoppe to speak with the owner to let her know that the groomer cut my dog too short with the razor and gave him razor burn all over. He has kept us up the last three nights, licking the areas and whining. When I spoke with the owner, she was not accommodating whatsoever. All she said was she will let that groomer know. That was it!! She did not try to put peace at mind for us and did not even try to give advice on what we should do. Very unprofessional and not sympathetic.. I recommend to stay away and not put these people in trust of your baby.

Leah loves this place. She gets so happy to go! She knows that it’s time to get dolled up when we arrive there. I have only good things to say. The appointments are easy to make. They are on time and the take great care of your family pet! Leah loves to come home with her bows!

I took my rescue dog for the first time, after been referred by Maywood Vet Clinic. Since we live nearby, we decided to make an appointment, just to realize that turn in disappointment.

The mother and the daughter were very rude, didn't even replied when we greeted them. Definitely we didn't get a warm reception, they gave us the silent treatment, and they gave us an attitude.

They canceled my Yorkie grooming stating that he was too nervous, and they ended up playing Vets, prescribing my dog with Trazodone.

My dog is eight years, and he had many grooming over the past. We decided to go to The Grooming Shoppe because of the reasonable price advertised, and we really wanted to take advantage of the 20% coupon for first time customers.

Except for the young lady who seems to be a helper, the owner and daughter need some Human Relations Classes, and start embracing diversity, otherwise is just a buying time business!

I want to assume that it was a Saturday, the end of the week, and almost the end of the day; and they were tired and exhausted. I

Took my dog here after reading reviews and sadly twice I was very disappointed. I showed photo of what I was looking for. Mind you, it’s a cleaned up version of how she looked going in. I even asked if they wanted a copy of photo and was told it’s not needed.

Worst part about this was I was being helped by the owner. We specifically spoke about what happened at prior visit and was assured my dog was in good hands with her.

Was not offered a sorry, nothing.

I’d rather drive further to get better service. Why tell a groomer what you want if they will cut your dog anyway they please?

Stay away from this place. I gave it a second try after a bad cut and this time around was worse.

Had a very good experience my first time taking my little poodle. They did a great job not entirely shaving her even though she had knots and she actually appeared pretty relaxed after I picked her up! Will be bringing her here again, so far I’m impressed with their service !
