STA and their entire staff handled the process of our 13 month old son Beau’s organ donation in the upmost professional experience my family and I could have imagined. We continue to engage with STA and are thankful for the continued support and collaboration they provide my family and others like us.

STA and my family agreed that our loved one’s organs would be harvested at the St. Joseph Hospital (Bryan, Texas) and tissues harvested at their location in Dallas, Texas. It was confirmed twice by myself before leaving Texas back to Arkansas. STA decided that his tissues were no longer needed and failed to notify our family, who had already made arrangements with an Arkansas Funeral Home for him to be transferred from Dallas. After several calls with TSA employees, all the family got was, “I’m sorry for the missed communication and we’ve closed his case so there is nothing we can do”. Therefore, our loved one is sitting another city in Texas. Our love one selflessly gave parts of himself to possibly save another life and once TSA got what they wanted, they were no longer concerned. Our family made plans around the dates of harvesting to honor his wishes just to be left with extra fees with the funeral home, lost time in getting him back to Arkansas, and anguish!! This organization has put a bad taste in our mouths when it comes to being an organ donor!! It should be ashamed of itself!!

Horrible company that affects families in very real ways. Hillary Carr is a TERRIBLE employee who has a very poor idea of what she is doing. Would give ZERO stars if possible and I have no idea how they are still in business with such awful people in their workforce.
