Ivy is amazing. She has nourished my hair for years. Great products great service. I have moved to Richmond and still make my way to her and she fits me right in when possible. I appreciate her professionalism products and healthy hair care for natural hair. I have recommended several people to include my daughters and believe it or not I was referred o her after seeing a friend's beautiful hair. Check her out she will not disappoint. My stylist is Ivy and she is very amazing my hair is always done the way I like bone straight and when the wind blow my hair do too. Ivy helps me maintain my hair and keeps it healthy. I always get compliments on my hair.

First interaction was cool cause she seemed nice. Although she burned my scalp blowing out my hair(which is still sore) . And dyed my hair the wrong color but she had good customer service at first an was willing to try to fix it on a different date w me paying for another blowout. . Second interaction customer service wasn’t as great. Visit was weird had family or friends that don’t work there doing my hair and others. Basically playing in peoples heads(they didn’t even know how to roll my hair or anything). As well as they were getting serviced too. her demeanor wasn’t good this time around gave off unwelcoming vibes. And still my hair color wasn’t how I wanted. But I began to settle with it because I don’t want her or others playing in my head any further. Asked her if she knew how to dye extensions because she had the colors she put in my head with her. she said yes quotes me a price I gave her the hair she gave me a day it should be done and said I’d get updates. I didn’t get updated at all & come pickup day my calls and texts get ignored(if she didn’t know who I was she would’ve answered she wears AirPods). And the day before that they were ignored. I get she has customers to probably deal with but I’m a paying customer as well and as the end of the day was coming near with no response no updates no nothing.she finally responded when I tell her I no longer want the service and coming to pick up the hair. When I picked up the hair you can see she obviously wasn’t working on coloring it in any way. She obviously didn’t want to do it, didn’t say sorry or anything and put my business last. Which if that’s the case she could say that. Very disappointing. I really wanted to like this place cause of the other reviews but no after these experiences, I will never return. Also now looking at my hair more carefully I believe too that my hair might’ve been burned off by either the dye she used or the blow dryer but it’s never been so thin(never been thin at all) have hair missing on my nape other areas.

I love how my hair feels and looks when I leave Ivy's Hair Salon!!!!! I faithfully go there every 2 weeks. My hair has grown 10 inches since I been going there well over a year. Thanks Ivy!!!!

I love IVY!!!!!! She has the best products and when she does my blow out it last about 2-3 weeks. I also love the retail products she carries, but understand her kits cost, but you want the best for your hair!!!!
