I needed to find a new salon after my stylist of 30 years retired. C and M was recommended so I gave it a try and was very pleased with the result. Rebecca colored and cut my hair and did a great job-exactly what I asked for. The staff was professional and friendly and the price was good for the UES. Will definitely return.

By far, the best salon on the Upper East Side.. Clare, Lana, Goldie, and the other girls, too, are the best in the business. The salon is very welcoming! Excellent with haircuts, color, and highlights. Very affordable, too!

Awful place. I’ll never return ever. Even if I’m desperate. Claire I’m extremely disappointed. I’m convinced none of you can cut or style hair. $90 for a cut, style and blow out was an overcharge in terms
Of results. Basic style. Cheap products and barely even spent a half hour on the job. Entry level style. Ireney the Russian stylist is a complete fraud. And that nasty rude woman in the back is the reason why I took so long return in the first place. Over the year’s you ppl made a lot of money off me and today when I returned I was put on the spot with the price and because it was a gift for a friend I didn’t want to up and go. Next time I’ll go with my gut instinct and go somewhere else. Don’t bother responding because I’ll just respond back and continue leaving reviews on all platforms ?

The Greatest Hair Salon on the Upper East Side...I tried many salons on the UES..Some had no clue how to do color or give a decent hair cut!! Others were so over priced it was ridiculous...
C & M has the best hairstylist and colorist in the Upper East Side. Their prices are very responsible too!

Loving my hair cute! I was referred here it is not a I would walk in to as it is away from me. But definitely had to come here. My friends bangs looked so good! I had been going to places that changed so much more and did not go half as good a job as Claire did. It’s nice to find a place that can deal with my hair. I have fine hair most people over dry my hair leaving it even smelling like it was burned. But this place I feel like my hair got a treatment but I did not. Feels so health! Thank you guys! Love love my hair again!

Went couple of weeks ago to get my hair dark brown. Lana recommend to go darker and she NEVER mentioned that she will put black and not dark brown. I don’t like it at all and came back to see how to fix it. She said this is dark brown then when we looked at the color it says natural black and the manger Claire said this is black and we can fix it but you have to pay $350. I felt that this is very unprofessional that you care to get more money and you don’t care to fix the problem you guys caused or to make the customer happy not to mention that I payed $195 for single process although it’s $117-119 at the salons next to them.
Didn’t like how they didn’t take responsibility to fix the problem or even cared to make the customer happy.
