Please do not come here. I came here Sunday to get 4 feed in braids and the lady who does them was not there.Fine. I still showed them the picture and confirmed the price that I was given over the phone $55 she confirmed. I go today and call ahead of time and was told to wait 15 for the braided. She gets there and I show her the picture and it jumps to $85. I got it done at the west chase location and they charged me $70 with my own hair. So I ask about that and she states “do you wana go back over there” and I looked at her and said I came here wi h is 7mins from my house compared to a 30minute drive on the other side of town. The ignorance and tone is what turned me off. She then says let me call and make sure and 2 minutes later she said you can go back over there if that’s what they charge you but it’s $85 here without the hair. Mind you this has the lowest rating and watching the work being done on a customer and seeing how his braids were coming out, I grabbed my stuff and left. Do not go here, Westchase is the best location.

My daughter and I have been going here for years! This is my favorite Brown Sugar location in Houston and the only place we go for our braids. Janie, Mami, and the rest of the braiders here are very professional and honest and it’s a safe environment. Highly recommend

First time.. they were nice, didn’t braid hard (thank God) fast and professional. They didn’t get width like I wanted (it was smaller than I wanted but still looked good. Many compliments I have received.
I definitely recommend!! I will be coming back!

I got scissor happy earlier this week and decided to basically cut all of my hair off (lol). I called them a couple of hours before closing because I DESPERATELY needed my hair done and they really went the extra mile to get me in last minute. I originally wanted 6 feed in braids, but had to do 8 because of my hair length. I really didn’t mind because the braider that serviced me had no issue braiding my short hair and I was SO thankful because a lot of places would’ve said no.

There were also two other people in the salon getting their hair done and the braiders did an amazing job with them as well.

This industry is tough because they deal with a lot of attitudes and rude customers. So I was so happy that they were quick, friendly, and trying to get me right.

I will definitely be making this my main location from now on.

I love my braids… did a walk in started at 10am and was out at 1:30.. this was the fastest I’ve ever had.. the only thing was I brought my own hair . And I got a price over the phone was $240 but when I got there it was $270 that’s just braids not hair including.. which is also if your bring your own.. they were fast and very sweet also can’t take that from them and very clean… I will be coming back just please get your price together

This place is so unprofessional. They get started on your hair and then try to change the price. If you ask for bohemian braids that comes with the curls and she tell me that she have to charge extra for curls. But my thing when you say bohemian and she give you one price and get half way done with my hair and try to charge you more. The place is so unprofessional. Please try a better braiding place for the amount of money that they try to charge you.

I absolutely love coming to this location. I am always taken care of and they have me leaving, looking and feeling like a million bucks. I always feel like a celebrity wheb i leave. The detail in the work here is phenomenal and they make sure my hair is tight and right. When I say EVERY PERSON in this shop can slay your braids I mean EVERY ONE. I truly appreciate the owner and the staff for always taking me in and making me feel beautiful. I really do love these ladies. I highly recommend you come and get your braiding needs done here. ❤
