Took my dog for grooming services and Bone Sweet Bone exceeded my expectations. My dog was matted and her hair was unruly. The groomer here took great care of her. My dog was returned without any scratches or cuts, and looking very clean and cute. My puppy left the grooming smelling like oatmeal and extremely happy. The front desk was very nice and accommodating. I loved that the groomer called me mid-groom to consult and receive my approval prior to cutting her hair. I will be bringing my dog back here. So happy to have found this spot! Thank you!

1. They cut her nails way too short to the point the part of the nail that shouldn’t have been cut is literally sticking out. She cried in pain with the slightest touch to her nails. Clear they messed it up - very evident just looking at it.

2. They then argue with you and make you feel stupid by saying there was no accident or bleeding. Not an accident, your untrained groomer messed up badly. Not my first dog or grooming. Literally Petco does a 100% better job. Not that hard to admit they made a mistake.

3. 0 liability - so called manager was going to contact me? Never happened lol? Why isn’t the manager there in the middle of a workday and why is not one ever at reception?

4 -aside from the insane attitude ( which they shouldn’t have a right to have at all lol) their response was we will cover vet bill and take your dog to vet. Excuse me

5 - my dog was screaming, freaked out and unresponsive to food or treats. Never happened before at any grooming session at any place. Clearly they’re aggressive or just aren’t trained enough to handle dogs. Maybe their daycare is better but after this it’s hard to trust them

Stay away and keep your dog safe. Untrained, unprofessional and impeccably rude.

This is an awesome place to get your dog groomed and looking amazing! I've taken my baby multiple times and they never disappoint, they also include the cutest accessories such as hair bows or bandanas after grooming which is included!! Lastly I don't think the prices can be beat, WE LOVE BONE SWEET BONE!!

Took my dog in to trim his nails. They took him in quickly with no wait on a Friday at 10am. The receptionist said it'd be just a few minutes. I browsed the toys for a few minutes, walked to the front desk to pay, then heard my dog yell/cry from the back. Not unusual, but certainly abnormal.

They brought him out and I paid and left in probably less than 6 minutes total. $20 for nail cutting, no filing.

I absolutely LOVE Bone Sweet Bone and so does my pooch Sookie Sookie Now! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the groomers whom I’ve never met always send Sookie home with a great cut! Affordable, clean, cute shop in DTLA.

Used to love bringing my dog for a groom-not any more.
There have been two times where our dog has had to wear a cone after grooming-the first time because the shave all the hair on her private parts (they had never done that before so I don’t know why they did that at that particular time-we’ve never asked for that either) which my dog didn’t like and ended up getting a rash. When contacting them about the issue, I didn’t feel a lot of compassion. I overlooked it because in the past I had been pretty pleased with my experience there and they had the lowest prices around (if you brought your own shampoo). However now, their price is the same as most places (so if you want a competitive price you won’t find it here especially if you don’t use your own shampoo)
Our most recent groom, she got an ear infection afterwards which resulted in a massive vet bill. Again no real compassion or follow through.
It’s just not worth it for your dog to have problems (especially medical ones) after their groom and just getting a sorry with no responsibility taken afterwords is terrible. Find a different place that will care for your dog during and after the groom.

We’ve been going to this establishment for the past two years and we loved the service until they gave our dog a $350 ear infection that was verified by our vet. When we contacted them, they demanded a vet report even though it was clearly a foreign substance that was put on our dog’s ear. Terrible customer service by the manager and lack of compassion.

If you try this place, ask about everything they do, every single detail because they will forget about your dog’s needs. The workers seem overworked and tired and driven to the point of exhaustion by their manager. We are flirting with the idea of a lawsuit because this wasn’t the first instance of mishap where they did not claim responsibility.

Save your money. Go somewhere else. Utterly unprofessional and are not skilled at grooming your dog.
