I love this salon. I went at the recommendation of a friend. The salon is beautiful and clean and the staff is lovely. Brian cut my hair and he is amazing. I had no vision about what I wanted but he knew exactly what to do and I am so happy with my cut. He is very detail-oriented and thorough. He made sure the cut was perfect and it was!! I will definitely be back.

I have been a client at this salon for many many years and always have a phenomenal experience. Antonio's haircuts are absolute perfection. My hair always looks amazing with minimal effort, even after it grows out because Antonio's cuts are so precise. He is a true artist and always knows exactly what to do to tailor your requested cut so that it works specifically for you. As he is cutting, he intuitively takes into consideration such details as your hair’s texture, facial structure, and even how your hair may behave in more humid versus drier conditions. So much thought is given to every single strand of hair that is being cut, so that it moves and falls so perfectly into place like pieces of a complex puzzle. The salon itself is modern and upscale with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Thank you so much Antonio!

I first learned about Antonio from a group of friends whose hair he cut. Each of them had a unique haircut that was so perfectly "them" (and was a complete change from how their hair was before Antonio cut it). No surprise but a huge pleasure to have the same experience when I went for my first cut. He is a genius. Totally understands hair and also has an amazingly intuitive grasp of the people whose hair he is working with. The end result is a cut I could never have imagined that released beautiful curls and colors I didn't even know were there. Not to mention that it requires no maintenance (other than good care, which the staff at the salon was so helpful about) but still brings tons of compliments from people I don't even know. Could not recommend more highly!

Antonio's haircuts are truly remarkable; he's such a hair virtuoso. With his gracious vision and artistry he manages to enhance any given features. Plus, his cuts grow out so well!
With his team of stylists, who have been with Antonio for a lifetime, the AP Salon feels like home. After 20 years in NYC, it's definitely my go-to place.
