Have been getting my son’s hair cut here since his first cut. He looks forward to it, the atmosphere is playful and the stylists are skilled, efficient and patient. I highly recommend Lea for her ability to translate my ramblings into a beautiful cut that grows out nicely and allows me to go a few months between appointments.

My older daughter’s hair was past her shoulders. I specifically asked the tall skinny lady with dark brown hair to cut it to her shoulders. I had my younger daughter getting a cut as well. I look over and my older daughter hair has been cut up to her chin. All this hair lady did was wet my daughters hair and cut it straight across. No shaping, no blending, just cut it straight across, there are uneven spots everywhere . I specifically came to this place because it is a kids place. I am so upset as it is my daughter’s 4th birthday next week and this will be hair cut. I didn’t want to complain at that time because it wasn’t going to bring back my daughter’s hair. When I asked this hair lady if she was done, she responded “if you want it to be done” I came on 4/7/2024 and my appt was at 1:20PM I hope management can figure out who this person was and speak to her. I am very disappointed and will never come back to this place. I would not recommend this place anyone. Especially, to those parents whose daughters have thick hair.

We just always have great a such experience with Michelle! My son is non verbal- special needs and from his very first haircut, Michelle has worked so well with him and we leave happy and with a great looking haircut! She’s just so great at being quick but thorough and sure that he feels safe as she explains what she’s doing. My son has become so comfortable and confident with going to this location for his cuts and I stick with Michelle because I love how she cuts his hair. Thank you

Andy did a great job cutting my 23 month old son's hair. It's been very stressful getting his haircut this last year due to his age and she made this a stress-free experience. She listened and did the type of cut I requested, made changes when I asked, was kind and patient with my son, and was very quick and efficient. We had a great experience and would recommend her to anyone!

Had a horrible experience a few months ago and finally making review. It was nothing but problems from the moment we walked in the door, got charged a full haircut for a trim of less than an inch that took the lady 60 seconds even though i told her i just wanted a bang trim she did the back of my daughters head and said she souldnt have bangs and to grow them out, she didn't bother evening it out or anything just cut my daughters hair straight across and braided it without asking me, so I couldn't see the uneven sections until later. It was my son's first haircut and it turned out awful, one side was way longer and when I tried to address it she said it needed to be that way to cover his widows peak so he didn't look like he was balding. My one year old did not look balding after I got it fixed elsewhere. Then their card reader wasn't working and the lady tried to blame me and my credit card and make me go to the ATM down the walkway. She told me the ATM fee was only a few dollars so it shouldn't matter. I refused and she got all huffy and I entered my card manually which worked. When I complained via email management's only solution was to give me 5 dollars off my kids next full price hair cut. What a joke. Will never be returning. Over priced and under skilled. They need to hire an actual cashier not just leave it to the stylists some of whom seem to have no customer service training.

I went in 40-min early to see if we could change our appt time and they said no. So then we came back at 3pm for our appointment and proceeded to wait 25 minutes while the girl before us had a bang trim, styled with braids and sparkles. When it was finally our turn (25-mins after our appt), we asked for bang trim + three pieces of tinsel. They told us they were running 20-min behind and couldn’t do tinsel. We have only ever been here for my daughter’s haircuts and have never, EVER had to book a separate appt for tinsel, though we often have to wait past our appointment time to be seen.

I’m floored they wouldn’t accommodate us earlier, then made us wait 25-mins after our appointment time, doted on the bang trim client before us, and then told us they couldn’t do what we wanted (and usually get) because they were late.

Their prices have also gotten outrageous.

We went in for kiddos first and second haircuts. It's a bit expensive for us, but with as much as little kids wiggle I do appreciate the service.
The cars they have for little kids to sit in while getting their trim/style are cute and give kids something to do with their hands to keep them away from sharp scissors. They have a play room with lots of toys if you need to distract a second kiddo. There are also a ton of toys and hair products to buy when you walk in the door.
Highly recommended for the first haircut package if you are having a professional cut your kiddos hair. We weren't sure how the first haircut would go and my husband got a haircut in the chair next to kiddo. It was comfortable and easy.

Pigtails and crew cuts is the most compassionate company in reference to children’s haircuts! My 10-year-old son is nonverbal with autism and is extremely sensory sensitive. As soon as we walk through the door, he is all smiles! They have created such a fine and safe environment for children with special needs. I will never go to another stylist For Eli!
