I went to see a stylist with curly hair like mine. I brought in inspiration pictures and a short video that explained perfectly what I wanted. I’m not a hair stylist so naturally I’m not going to be good at explaining what I want. I wish my stylist would have been open to watching the short video instead of having me try to explain it myself. It took way longer for me to try to explain it than if she were to just watch the video that was less than 3 minutes and there would have been zero confusion. Also, as a client why did I spend so much time looking to bring in inspiration (like we are always told to do) if the stylist doesn’t even take the time to look at it? So I basically said that I wanted short and long layers. There were at least 3-4 times where she kept trying to push for me to get internal layers but I kept saying no. I did not feel heard at all and I left with only long layers even though I wanted short ones too. The worst part was when I got into my car I noticed my face framing pieces were completely uneven (by inches) and since I was already in tears at this point I definitely was not going back inside and when I got home I did my best to fix them myself. Experiences like this are just really unfortunate and disappointing, especially when you have to wait weeks for an appointment and spend over $100. And to top it off, she was running over 20 behind from her previous client and my appointment then felt rushed. I just won’t be going back.

Love this salon!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a chill, laidback vibe to relax in while you get your hair done! I saw Kelly for the first time yesterday and truly enjoyed the process from start to finish! She didn’t rush my appointment and took her time listening to what I was looking for based on some photos I shared. She gave me tips on ways to style my hair going forward without pushing products on me and I walked out with a new haircut that I absolutely love. If you do choose to visit this salon you should consider booking your cut with Kelly! Also of note: their online booking is extremely easy to use and availability makes it easy to find a slot that works with your schedule.

Abby was great! From the moment she greeted me to the end, she put me at ease and I felt I could trust her skill. I had a terrible hair cut 11 months prior (I have very naturally curly hair) and she corrected and shaped it to look great! Thanks, Abby, for fixing the problem— I am now enjoying my hair and cut.

Clementine’s has such a great atmosphere and everyone who works there is so lovely! I see Bri for my hair and she always does an amazing job. She’s always really attentive to finding out what you want for your look/hair. I’ve been seeing her for a couple of years now and have always had a stellar experience!

The number of compliments I’ve received on my hair since coming here is kinda crazy. Kelley did such an amazing job with my hair with only a bit of direction (a few Pinterest photos). Highly recommend if you want high quality services for a reasonable price.

In search of a new salon, I found Clementines through a friend and absolutely LOVED it! I booked with Danielle and can say that this is the first time I’ve received a haircut where the picture I showed the stylist was EXACTLY what she gave me! Love my new do ☺️
