I would rate this place a 0 if I could. I’m extremely disappointed with their service and handling of my appointment. I brought my 5-month-old Cockapoo in for his first teddy bear trim, which I had been eagerly anticipating. From the start, things went wrong—the receptionist put me on hold and never came back. I had to call again to schedule for Sunday, 8/4/2024, at 9 AM. When I arrived, I clearly explained the teddy bear haircut I wanted, but it seems the groomer, Jim, misunderstood and gave my dog a poodle cut instead. I was advised to contact Maria, the manager , for a refund, but they don't know when she’ll be back and said I'd have to wait until next Sunday. When I returned to ask them to call Maria for me, they refused and were unhelpful, even hesitating to give me their names. Avoid this place if you value good service.

Treasure cut is always Great even when she is matted, they just cut her short. Which is perfectly understandable to me. Communication: This is Treasure’s 2nd time having some happen concerning her eye. This time I believe they cut her too close. And under her eye is irritated and puffy. As soon as I picked her up I noticed it and called them. I was told that the groomer noticed it a suggested that Treasure go to the Vet. If that is the case then why did you not tell me that when I picked her up or before you started grooming her, and why are there no notes in the system. When I dropped her off she was perfectly fine. Lack of accountability and proper communication. I am very disappointed because I thought this was my permanent place for Treasure. Still waiting on call from Owner.

I’ve been to Puppy Love for a while now. Everyone there is very nice and cheerful. They are not too difficult to get into. The hours are nice. I think they work well with my dog, he doesn’t seem as distressed about this groomer as compared to others in the past. However I have a few frustrations.
1) They ask how I want the cut before I leave. I tell them but very often they will refer back to some notes in my dog’s chart and I will pick up a dog with a different groom than I requested.
2) occasionally the cut is raggedy and poorly done, which sometimes people are new and they’re learning, but it’s hard to give grace when the results are inconsistent but you are consistently asked to tip before you even see your animal.
3) before you ever see your dog you are asked to pay and leave a tip. The lowest tip setting is 20%. Frankly a tip is an additional thank you for a job well done. The lowest setting should definitely not be 20%.
Today I paid $83 including a tip to get my dog back not how I asked at all. It’s a dog, his hair is going to grow back and eventually it will be fine. But I’m not in the habit of paying $80 for inconsistent results for anything. I’ve been going here for over a year, it’s not the worst place ever, but I do think I’ll be looking at some other local options.

I’ve taken my dog there 4 Times and each time an issue! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, GROOMERS HAVE NEVER COME OUT AND TALKED TO ME PERSONALLY! Owner only there in Sundays! I am still waiting on a return phone call from owner AND NOTHING! Dew claw almost cut off and was not and has not been brought to my attention to this day! They don’t rate ONE star-

My dog has been going here for 2yrs last yr in December my dog was dropped off for boarding as normal of they knew my dog wasn't fixed & was suppose to be separated fast forward I pick her up I was told nothing they handed her to me as normal. On Feb 24 2024 I was sleeping & I woke up with pups on the ground. I immediately did the math called Pup Love & asked for a manager they haven't done anything to help in regard to this situation beside grooming my dog. I trusted them with her & now a new pup due to not being aware of her being pregnant she lost a pup & I wasn't able to provide proper care smh.

We brought our sweet dog here for grooming for YEARS. The last visit was completely a fail. I would not and do not recommend. We have a senior Chinese Crested Powder Puff. She usually has a puppy cut--and we leave her Crested ears long. We always share pictures during drop off.

When I picked our dog up, they trimmed all of her EVERYWHERE down as though she was matted. (she was not). She looked NOTHING like we requested. When I asked what happened, she said the groomer was trying to "even it out to balance her face".

When I called to speak to the manager, she offered me $20 off the services. I replied that respectfully, I had tipped her groomer more than that (prior to seeing my dog), and requested a refund.

I waited weeks for her to get back with me. When I finally spoke with her, she offered a free groom in the future.

My dog looked SO ridiculous. For WEEKS!

Avoid. 0/10 No longer recommend.
