What a great experience! These people are incredible! They have dedicated their lives to nurture these donkeys back to health and just put everything they have to ensure these donkeys have a great life! It was so much fun seeing their process and giving ear scratches to big ol ‘Wally and Siderunner. Thank you Lori for everything!

I had to surrender my donkey a month ago and went down to see him. The staff at the rescue were taking very good care of him, answered all our questions very knowledgeable folks and very helpful to. They have lots & lots of donkeys there. I really enjoyed myself, plan on going back again soon. The picture is of me and donkey. The second picture is one of the staff bringing donkey out for us to visit with him. Just some of their other donkey's.

We decided to do a weekend trip to San Angelo since my husband and I have never been there. Really enjoyed the beautiful little town, the Riverwalk, restaurants, and all the art displays were wonderful , but the highlight of our trip was getting to tour the peaceful valley donkey rescue! Our tour guide I believe her name was Vanessa was amazing …so knowledgeable about the operation, and knew numerous donkeys by name. We learned a lot and we were lucky enough to love on a week old baby. Thank you for what you do.

Ray was our tour guide and it was really cool. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. You can tell he loves his job and the animals he takes care of. We saw over 3000 donkeys/mules/ponies, a cow, turkeys. They were all adorable. We saw the process from when they come in to when they get adopted out. They have a cart and it is wheelchair ♿️ . Perfect weather. Was so fun. Would recommend!
